Eric Recher - 01/22/2007 A few notes on these seats: The sparco bases sit VERY low. The overall build quality of the seat is fair. Padding is fairly thin and firm. There is some play in the tilt, so no matter what position it's at, it wiggles a bit and feels cheap. The ideal height for someone in these is probably 5"9" because the taller you sit in the seat, the less comfortable the shoulder bolsters become. Lumbar support is weaksauce, but that it more of a design flaw - it encourages slouching. The tilt knobs are plastic and 3/4 were shattered in shipping and I had to re-assemble them on my own, but thanks to RSD, they shipped me the parts I needed free of charge.
So in general the seats are VERY good looking (in STi) and are decent for daily driving, but are certainly not the most comfortable, not like stock |
