The newly developed high performance cooling system “V-mount” was developed for the Subaru Impreza (GDB) Quite similar to the WRC Impreza race car.

Due to the normal intercooler placed on top of the engine, less air passes though the engine so the intercooler will receive heat when driving long distances or at slow speeds. There is a disadvantage drop off efficiency to the cooling system.

Replaced with a front setting type intercooler, it can improve efficiency; however piping becomes too long so response can be lost as well as pressure drop within the charge pipes.

Considering the radiator, if it is given higher power, a larger capacity radiator is needed however space is limited on this vehicle.

“Cool Power V” can cover all disadvantages with a balanced high level cooling system.

Placing the radiator diagonally, it allows for a large radiator to be installed. Also when mounted this way, it channels more air directly to the intercooler as well.

A Less drag Intercooler and high efficiency tube and fin radiator are placed into a “V shape.”

With a great turbo and power combination this “V-mount” Setup is capable of holding up to 500HP, without sacrificing cooling efficiency.

I have been running the V-mount for about 10 months now and absolutely love it. I would reccommend that the installer have moderate to high fabrication skills. I never had a top mount but this is much more effecient than than the Perrin or APS front mounted intercooler, not that either of those are a bad choice. Do not forget if you are a street warrior to spend the extra five hundred dollars on the air conditioning accessories. My vehicle is highly modified, right down to the engine block itself, and after six hundred miles on the freeway in 112 plus degree weather you can grab the throttle body charge pipe and only wish the store sold beers that cold. In closing if you are running a factory turbo do not forget to buy a 90 degree silicon coupler from Hose techniques or it will be a nightmare. Finally Thank You Power Enterprise for making it , and I had to get mine from their america president as prototype, so Thank You Rally Sport Direct for stocking an extremely expensive seldom know Real Race Car Part.
