The PE super strong KEVLAR timing belt was originally developed by Power Enterprise for the tuning and racing industries. The original Kevlar timing belt developed by PWR in 1997 featured 4-times the durability against stretching compared to the stock belts it replaced. It gained huge popularity among race engine builders and tuner parts manufacturers. At the end of 2006, PWR introduced a more advanced Kevlar timing belt based on the feed back sent to PWR from engine builders around the world. The new Kevlar Timing Belt features zero stretching, and is 2.6 times more durable compared to the original PWR Kevlar timing belt. The new belt features increased heat resistance and improved flexibility to suppress unwanted oscillations. PWR Super Kevlar belt also features improved camshaft fitment by compounding nylon fiber in the cog portion.
