 5. Lowering Rotational Mass – By installing lighter wheels/tires, lighter Drive shafts, Lighter Flywheel/Clutch Assemblies. This makes your car have to propel less mass and puts less load on the motor. It will also help you accelerate and decelerate quicker and give you better overall performance while still giving you marginally better fuel mileage when driven conservatively.
 4. Cleaning your fuel system – Over time your fuel system can become very dirty and also cause excess carbon build up in your cylinders. Having your fuel system cleaned either by a professional or using over the counter products can increase the efficiency of your engine resulting in better performance/fuel mileage.
 3. Intakes – Putting an intake on your car can raise fuel efficiency if your stock intake is causing restriction. By allowing the air to flow more efficiently through the intake stream you can see better performance. You do need to make sure you buy a good quality on that will not change the A/F ratio of your car or get it tuned for to achieve optimal performance. Also please remember you will hear more of your car which may encourage you to drive your car harder. If you drive your car harder you will actually get worse gas mileage then before so take it easy for the most part.
