Mode racing air box was designed to help reduce Intake air temperatures when used in conjunction with short ram intakes.

This unit was designed specifically to work specifically with a Cobb Tuning intake, and it has shown intake temperature drops of over 20 degrees compared to just running the filter with out the air box. Making this almost a must for anyone who is looking to get maximum performance out of there vehicle.

Constructed of 16 ga. Aluminum the air box consists of a one piece surround, directional lid, and stainless fasteners that help reduce a loss of power that could be robbed from your motor by a heated intake charge. Unlike some cold air intakes, which places the filter in the front fender, our design helps to supply cool air through factory ducting, while eliminating the risk of water ingestion. Comes with all necessary hardware and full illustrated instructions.

I just installed this with my new COBB SF Intake and I am very pleased with the resultts. Quality is good and installation was a breeze (minus the optional intake silencer removal). I would recommend scissors for cutting the rubber sealer to put on the edges. Great addition for a short ram!
