This Combo includes the Kartboy WRX Short Shifter and Kartboy WRX Shifter Bushings. You only need to order this to receive both parts

If you have the factory Short shifter Kit you need the Regular Impreza Shifter. Please verify which shifter you need before ordering. If you have any questions on how to check to see which shifter you need feel free to give us a call

The Kartboy Short Throw shifter replaces the stock shift lever in 2002-2006 model year Subaru Impreza vehicles. Overall shift throw is decreased by 40%, providing a noticable difference and a solid feel.
Constructed of CNC'd and TIG welded 4130 Cr-Mo steel. Installs with simple mechanic's tools in under 30 minutes. Made in USA.

The Kartboy Shifter Bushings replace the stock shifter mount bushings in 1998-2004 model year Subaru vehicles, including Impreza RS, WRX (not the WRX STi, yet)Outback Sport, Legacy, and Forester. While this product will not change the geometry of the shifting mechanism, it eliminates excessive play in the system for a more solid gearchange. This product requires jacking of the car and jackstands are mandatory. Can be installed in 30 min. Material is Black,95A durometer polyurethane. Made in USA

Just installed the shifter tonight, waiting to do the bushings this weekend. The overall feel of the shifter is alot nicer compared to the stock unit. I wish i would have went with the adjustable Cobb unit because this shifter is pretty short height wise. If your a tall boy and sit in the back you have to stretch to bang your gears. Otherwise the difference is great , very crisp shifts, and luckly i didn't have to modify anything, my first gear slips in fine.

Just Installed Kartboy Short shifter and front shifter bushings in my 2.5I Impreza Wagon. I would recommend this mod to anyone.The shifting is alot tighter and throw is definetly shorter.I love the way the shifter feels in my hand now
