This is a combo for the Kartboy STi Short Throw Shifter and STi Shifter bushings. You only need to order this to get both parts.

The kartboy replacement lever for the Subaru WRX STi 6 Speed is the first non-Subaru version available. With a height reduction of 1" and a redesigned mechanical advantage, a throw reduction of 40% is achieved. CNC machined and Tig welded in the USA. Matched with a set of kartboy shifter bushings (available separately), a major improvement in the shifting is immediately felt, while retaining the factory reverse lock-out

The Kartboy Shifter Bushings replace the stock shifter mount bushings in the 2004 Subaru WRX STI. While this product will not change the geometry of the shifting mechanism, it eliminates excessive play in the system for a more solid gearchange. This simple modification will make your shifter linkage feel 10x more solid. This product requires jacking of the car and jackstands are mandatory. Can be installed in 30 min. Material is Grey for the STI. Made in USA

This was the first modification that i did to my STI. I had this setup in my WRX, and when i upgraded to the STI, it was the first modification that I decided to do. The Reverse lockout line is hard to get out and to get back in, but after you master that, it's a breeze. The build quality on the Kartboy Shifter is awesome, from what I understand these are hand built in the US. After installation, shifts are alot shorter in distance, and shift knob sits lower than it does vs stock. Shifts feel alot more "Crisp" and "Notchy", all the slop when trying to find the correct gear is eliminated.
