The Kartboy Shifter Bushings replace the stock shifter mount bushings in the 2004 Subaru WRX STI. While this product will not change the geometry of the shifting mechanism, it eliminates excessive play in the system for a more solid gearchange. This simple modification will make your shifter linkage feel 10x more solid. This product requires jacking of the car and jackstands are mandatory. Can be installed in 30 min. Material is Grey for the STI. Made in USA

Much improved feel for shifting. Tight and precise. Make sure you use lithium grease. Install was a snap, but I recommend doing it on a lift (where I did mine) because of the location under the center of the car. I also installed a rear shifter bushing at the same time (Kartboy) to knock out the shifter upgrades all at the same time. I highly recommend this product for improving the daily driveability of your car.
