Tried Installing this down pipe on my girl's 02 wrx... What a nightmare, the down pipe would not mount up to the exhaust. I took it to the local race shop and they determined that the bend on the down pipe needed to be cut and re done. If i Hadn't already spent the money on heat wrapping it and ceramic coating, I wouldn't of even bothered having it repaired.
I tried the stock and after market exhaust and neither would mount up without hitting the drive shaft.
So an extra $250 dollars later we now have a working car....

Awesome downpipe, can really hear the turbo spool up and a lot quicker spool up time. Definately recommend this downpipe to anyone great price great product! |

Fits beautifully. 1 hour install time. Best with aftermarket CBE. Nice turbo sound. |

Can't say yet, haven't installed it and it wont' let me skip to the next review. Waiting to weld on new wideband sensor bung which it doesn't come with. And of course I see a used cobb for sale for cheaper than this the next day... _sigh_ |

Ive had this downpipe on my wrx for about 3 months now and i absolutly love it. It has amazing throttle response, and gives your subaru a dope deep boxer sound that we all love. I only want invidia as my exhaust parts after this great downpipe by them.
I would also reccomend to heat wrap it and wipe it down with a cloth becuase when you start the car and have is running it will burn your fingerprints on the polished crome if you dont heat wrap it, it'll be a mess of prints. |
