I purchased this for use with my Defi BF Amber Oil Pressure Gauge. I wasn't to excited about drilling into the block or the oil pan, and this fit perfectly on my 2005 STI. It makes the oil filter sit down about another 1" but it's still up and out of the way. Definately worth the money if you are installing any oil temp or pressure gauge.
