To help decrease Turbo Spool up time on the Subaru WRX, a Uppipe is usually the first place to start. The Uppipe sits inbetween the turbo and the exhaust manifold. The factory uppipe on the wrx has a very restrictive catalatyic converter. By removing this pipe, you will see a increase in HorsePower and a decrease Turbo Spool up time. New Gaskets are ALWAYS required when doing a uppipe installation.
