Bushing does increase firmness and feel, but does leave you wanting a little more. This is the only shifter/ linkage upgrade i have done so far, so with further upgrade ill be sure to find the right setup. I would buy it again without thinking twice. **Intall tip - use a razor to cut one of the lips of the oem bushing, then use a chanel lock to push it out.
