Thomas Muther - 10/24/2008 Unless you have access to a full shop and have good mechanical skills, have a professional install this item for you, as you need to completely dis-assemble the entire rear suspension and need a press to install the new bearings. The instructions are all in japanese, so you'll need to do your homework if you want to install yourself. Also, new main bearings and race bearings are needed, which are not included with with the diff. The ring gear from your old diff is re-used on the new one and the bolts need lock-tight on the threads. But once it's installed and broken in, you'll have an awesome rear end with just the right amount of throttle-induced oversteer to have loads of fun and shave seconds of your lap times. There is increased noise, but it's well worth the gains. |
