The STI already comes with a world-class suspension from the factory. One of the biggest complaints we hear about the STI’s handling is the excessive body roll and lack of turn-in when cornering. To help improve this without sacrificing ride quality, we offer our Stage 1 Handling Package.

Eliminating body roll without upsetting ride comfort or balance is done by carefully matching high quality components designed specifically for the STI. Improving chassis rigidity helps your suspension work better and reduces any dynamic alignment effects that can reducing your handling capability. To do this, we utilize a rear strut tower brace which helps reduce chassis flex. Next, we improve the STI’s balance by using improved sway bars which helps to reduce body roll and reduce the amount of understeer without upsetting the ride quality.

Keep in mind that from our testing, it is a LOT easier to make a STI handle worse than stock than it is making one handle better. Simply making the car handle "differently" does not necessarily mean you're handling BETTER.

The resulting handling quality is rewarding, without altering the character of your STI. Package includes our lightweight tubular Front and Rear Sway Bars,a Rear Strut Tower Brace, and either our Standard Heavy Duty Rear Sway Bar mounts or our trick Adjustable Slider mounts.

Please note some clearance issues may exist if using the adjustable mounts with the stock STI muffler. This clearance issue does not exist with our muffler or other mufflers we've tested to date. No known clearance issues exist with our standard non-adjustable mounts.
