Amazing!!! 5 star quality. Perfect fit. I have a complete stage two set up with a tune and it sounds mean while on the gas but reserved while under nomal driving conditions. Even a spit of flame when you let off while under a heavy load. |

I am an aircraft engineer and the first thing I do when purchasing a product is to research quality and performance. From all the reviews I've read and from talking with local tuners, this exhaust is well worth the money. I'm impressed with the important features of this TBE system - the well-designed cast turbo outlet housing, the minimal bends and quality welds sold me (not to mention the distinctive exhaust sound of a high-performance boxer exhaust system). I'm planning on purchasing the high-flow cat as well. |

What can I say.....this exhaust is awesome! This is the first modification that has been done to my 04 STi, and I can already tell a world of difference. Turbo spools a lot quicker, sounds AMAZING (not too loud like the Honda "coffee can" exhausts, but definately turns heads when hard on the throttle), no drone at highway speeds, and looks the part. It took a little bit of wrench time to get the stock exhaust off, but the APS system went straight on without a problem. Toughest part was the lower tranny side bolt on the turbine outlet, and I had to enlist the help of the wife and her small hands to get into the tight spot. I also used the stock exhaust hangers without a problem, the system is tucked up nicely under the car without any rubbing. I definately recommend this TBE!!!! |

The APS has a low rumble that resembles a V-8 (thank you, boxer 4)--I am personally thrilled with it, and it is acceptable at highway levels. Made some friends jealous.
I installed an uppipe and tuned it via an accessport at the same time as the APS and have definitely noticed an improvement in turbo spool time, giving it a quicker response when on the throttle. The first 2 gears on the WRX are now much more usable, whereas lag hurt them before; they feel much more responsive. I've driven it 2 weeks as of this post, about 500 miles.
To boot, it is a very pretty piece. Recommended. |

This is an excellent choice for a high quality TBE that will last as long as your suby. The assembly is straightforward and displays nothing short of top quality construction. Trimming the factory heat sheild is easy make sure you use it. The extra heatsheild on the cast collector is a good addition. The exhaust note is perfect and almost inaudible after the car is warm with a nice throaty sound at full throttle. |
