APS has gone to great lengths to custom design the highest quality catalytic converter. Whilst there are a number of 3" catalytic convertors on the market that promise high performance, there are significant durability issues particularly at high horsepower levels. The APS cat is streets ahead and an important item when exhaust gas emissions on high power WRX vehicles are an issue.

With true 3 inch inlet/outlet connections, it features a high flowing stainless steel monolith packed in stainless steel mesh. No other aftermarket converter (and few O.E.M. pieces) are constructed to such a high specification level.

Great product, easy install. Passed emission tests for Utah no problems. Made my APS system a little quieter, now sounds like the COBB system, increased low and mid range power, read about this. Increasing back pressure some helps low and mid range power. I would defiantly recommend this product for those who need to pass emission testing.
