A turbocharger relies on having the greatest amount of exhaust gas energy available in order to deliver the greatest response and power possible. This means that the maximum amount of heat must be retained within the exhaust header system in order to transfer that directly to the turbocharger. The APS heat shield kit is engineered with custom pre-cut OEM specification sandwich heat shields that wrap around the intricate profiles of the APS Equal Length Split Pulse Header system. This delivers the best possible performance and the maximum component longevity - the best of both worlds!
