DESCRIPTION

This Samco Turbo Inlet hose is a great way to improve horse power spool up and air intake flow. They directly replace the factory inlet and have a larger ID to allow for more air volume. Made out of 3 ply silicone with a special inner oil resistant lining, you will not have to worry about this inlet falling apart for years to come. This inlet hose is also wire reinforced to alleviate collapsing issue concerns.

Installation of this inlet is moderate, it involves the removal of your intake manifold. Designed for standard sized inlet turbo 2.4

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS (1)

  • AnswerQ: Samco inlet for 07 WRX  guest55c8ec27caae52f460ad75dc 5 years ago

The stock intake has a PCV valve that has an electrical connection. The Samco appears to only have a nipple for the PCV valve hose. Stock hose has a special hose end connector. Any insight on how the line is supposed to connect on the SAMCO?

    • A: The plastic electrical connector has no effect on vehicle operations when being installed, however the electrical circuit must be completed to keep the ECU functioning properly. The Samco inlet has no direct prevision for this connector to be used, as the connector does not actually monitor PCV system operations. Two ways of taking care of the connector are as following: 1) Cut off the plastic connector from the stock inlet, attach it to the Electronic connector on the inlet side, and run a short hose from the black plastic connector from the OEM inlet you removed to the Samco Inlet. 2) Using pliers, remove the metal jumper from the electrical connector by gently prying it out. Install it into the wiring harness and tape up the end.
