The COBB Knob is designed to keep those extended shifting sessions exhilarating. The red anodized billet aluminum base is internally threaded to provide a tight fit onto the shifter shaft that won't come loose in the most frenzied of gear changes. The matte black delrin knob has a perfectly round contour to fit right in the palm of your hand. The package is complete with a COBB logo on the base to let everyone know whose knob you hold.

The 5 speed COBB Knob has a lip around its base to secure the stock shifter boot, while the 6 speed COBB Knob works perfectly with the reverse lock ring. Shifter weights are 117g and 104g respectively, encouraging smooth thrusts into every gear.

Spin on a COBB Knob and take your Subaru for a ride!

COBB Knob Features:
* White delrin knob with contrasting red anodized billet aluminum
* Both 5-speed and 6-speed applications
* 117g or 104g weight for positive shifts

What makes a shift knob good? This depends on whom you ask. I was enjoying a local car meet where everyone had their newly-bathed cars out on display to show off perhaps, the fruits of their labor. I was admiring my own car. Especially after I just purchased the new Cobb Delrin knob in the white finish, and it had the red ring at the base. As I took the time to critique other cars, I could hear snickering. Those snickers later turned into laughs others were trying to conceal. Paranoid I got, I went back to my car where I heard snide remarks about size, and what not. I soon realized that these people where laughing at my car. One by one, people would peer into my interior and woulr burst into laughter. Surely I was confused. What was wrong with my shift knob? What was wrong with my car you ask? I had the suspension slammed to the rails, I even took the time to sticker bomb my front lip as I added the neon zip ties to hold it on just like the others. But all I could head is look at that tiny shift knob! In my defense I yelled it's not the size of the hammer, but it's the nail! Still confused with all these people. But then I took a moment and looked around. Most everyone had flat brim hats. Idetified themselves as ratchet, and communicated in acronyms such as yolo, and used words like bro, for every other word. So I started looking in their cars and was shocked in horror when I saw their shift knobs. Let's just say that they were about a foot long, they were transparent, and resembled something that you could only purchase at one of those special novelty shops. Remember on those old Police Academy movies then they walked into the wrong bar? I just realized that I was at the wrong car meet.
