Great product

Another great product once again from beatrush. After seeing my bushings they were worn out so I definitely noticed a difference after installing these. Biggest thing I noticed is less jerk on and off throttle, much more smooth under acceleration and deceleration on downshifting.

Dont fit JDM 98 Impreza STI GC8

I just bought these and I went to put them in and they don't fit through the stock Propeller shaft mount, the holes are too small, so I cant put the Beatrush bushings in without modifying the stock mount which I don't really want to do because what if they still don't fit then that would suck really badly. Seems like a great product if they fit. They feel really well made and strong.

great quality bushing

high quality product. Had to remove part of my exhaust system to get to the bolts. And I had to remove the heat shield. After that it was just prying off with a flat head screwdriver. Now my shaft feels a lot more solid when I take off. For the money I highly recommend this product.

Very happy

Installed into my 1997 BG5 Liberty (Legacy) 5MT wagon. Easy fit, locked the center carrier in tight. Running an STI DCCD centre diff so need to beef up the rear end a little. I suspect this put extra strain on my stock rear diff bushes. So I've ordered the whiteline rear diff bush lock kit, and the kartboy outrigger lock kit. Combo of all three plus a group N transmission mount should show noticeable improvement.

Definite Difference

I have a 2006 N/A Impreza Wagon. Perrin SLS Kit, Rear adj swaybar, STi pitch mount, STi Trans Mount, Kartboy Front and Rear shifter bushings and a couple other stiffening mods. NVH came out of the SLS kit foremost. These prop shaft mount bushings are great. Although I do have some stiffening mods on the car already, I DO notice a difference in the way the power is engaged to the wheels. The slight jerk from letting the clutch out is diminished. The drive shaft hop is gone when rolling slow in 1st gear. Under aggressive driving, the power delivery is noticeably instantaneous. I have a straight pipe from cat back. no resonator so they were easy to install. Other wise for MY 06-07 the mid pipe has to be dropped.

  • AnswerQ: Automatic fitment again.  guest55c52645caae52d2048b73e5 1 year ago

If they do fit is there any reason that they cannot be used on an automatic drivetrain?

    • A: There should not be any issues but these will likely not fit and we recommend finding a different option for your automatic's carrier bearing.

Will these work on an automatic? I know it states manual, but I just wanted to double check.

    • A: These are only confirmed for manual transmissions.

  • AnswerQ: How many mounts come with this?  nickgordon11172309 2 years ago

Do these come with enough mounts for both front sides? Also can these go on the rear?

    • A: These bushings go on the carrier bearing, which is in the center of the driveshaft and they replace both stock bushings. These cannot be used anywhere other than the carrier bearing.

  • AnswerQ: Driveshaft Bushing  TQuon 4 years ago

Whats the recommended torque on those bolts?

    • A: You will want to use the factory torque spec when installing these units. This can vary based on what car you have. Please consult the factory service manual for the exact specs

      Kirill C. 4 years ago

    • A: Just as a follow up the torque on the bolts are 40 ft. lbs

  • AnswerQ: NVH? Damping?  thaduke2003 4 years ago

So, given that these are the mounts for the driveshaft center bearing, I have three questions: 1. How much of an increase in NVH will these cause? 2. Will these cause any kind of harmonics or other problems for the driveshaft? 3. Can these cause the center bearing or u-joint premature wear/failure? Thanks- Mark W.

    • A: Increases in NVH will be marginal at most running these mounts and they will not harm the harmonics of the driveshaft nor cause premature failure or wear to the center bearings.
