This SMY ClusterMaker Gauge Pod is a dual 52mm gauge setup that replaces the factory cluster bezel. Made with injection molded ABS plastic it is stronger than the OEM piece it replaces but it matches it perfectly in terms of the texture you can see. It looks so good you would think Subaru themselves made it.

Each pod comes with rubber bands specially sized to fit your gauges nice and tight in the pods.

Please note the WRX and STI models come equipped with a telescopic steering wheel. To properly install this part please lower and pull the steering wheel out to it's maximum setting. After the part is properly installed adjust the steering wheel to a comfortable position.

This will only fit LHD cars.

Tenabe VLS Gauge installed in SMY Cluster
icl 4 months ago
The color and texture of this cluster matched very well with the OEM dash board (in garage lighting). I will verify in direct sun next time. There are parting lines from the molding process but it's not too terrible or noticeable. When using the rubber bands to insert my gauges it was a very very tight fit and hard to push flush with the cluster. I ended up using soapy water to lubricate the rubber band; even though it was still difficult to push into place and rotate to final position.

Not a fan of this

I used to own a 2008 Cobalt SS and had a similar gauge pod made, so I figured this one would be similar. the gauges are too far down to see in my opinion and if you adjust your steering wheel, the blinker switch hits the gauges. Sold it to someone else on NASIOC. I don't recommend this.

Subaru STI 2013 - I love this Dual Gauge Pod
jeffreyvelez 6 months ago
After I started modding my car I was in need of some gauge, but I want to do something different than everyone using the 3 gauge on the side of the car or in the middle of the dashboard. I decide to try this and I'm in love with this dual gauge pod. Does the job, pretty good quality and look. I little bit over price but it worth it.

perfect

Perfect fit. Put my gauges in the perfect spots. Left side does interfere slightly with highbeam engagement but doesn't stop it altogether. Great product

  • AnswerQ: No rubber bands?  NightwingSTI 8 months ago

I recently acquired one of these from a guy I bought my STI from... however he didn't have the rubber bands to hold the gauges tight. Can I purchase those separately? Or is there something else I can use?

    • A: Those need to be either purchased directly through us at SMY or ordered directly through RSD.

Whats the difference between the 08 wrx dash and the Premium 08 wrx dash? Says it won't fir my 08 wrx Premium :,(

    • A: We currently do not have the 2008 WRX Premium listed in the vehicle filter and that is why it is not shown on the Confirmed Applications list. This will fit your car as long as it is left hand drive.

  • AnswerQ: Size?  Malloy 1 year ago

Will the oem sti boost gauge fit in this?

    • A: The OEM Lamco STI boost gauge will not fit in this pod because it is smaller than 52mm. The SPT boost gauge is 52mm, but may not fit all the way in the pod due to its length.

  • AnswerQ: 60 mm guage fitment  bikenbowman03261 2 years ago

I want to fit 2 defi bf advance guages in this. Is there any way to do this?

    • A: Unfortunately there is not because if you tried to widen the holes, you would basically have nothing to set the gauge in.

    • A: This is only for LHD vehicles only.

    • A: This cannot be used on right hand drive cars because it will not fit properly.
