COBB Tuning offers you the ultimate personal tuning solution for your WRX. Save time and money with the ability to conveniently reprogram your vehicle's computer (ECU) by selecting one of the pre-installed performance "maps" that automatically optimize settings such as the air/fuel ratio, ignition timing, boost and more for performance results you can instantly feel.
However, the AccessPORT is so much MORE than just a REFLASH DEVICE. It allows you to monitor fuel economy (average and real time), perform performance tests in order to estimate your 0-60mph and 1/4 mile time, read and decipher ECU trouble codes (CELs), and monitor live data via the OEM vehicle sensors which eliminates the need for aftermarket gauges.
This AccessPort will only work with North American ECU's.

After reading all the holy $*&! reviews I was a skeptic about the performance level of the Cobb AP. I figured it was more or less people trying to justify dropping $600 on something. Not the case... I initially spoke with Kirill about buying strut bars or the AP as my 2nd mod. Kartboy SS/Bushings were first. He convinced me that the AP would improve my overall driving experience much more. Kirill took about 30 minutes of his time to answer all the questions I had pertaining to the AP and a few other things as it relates to CA and CARB certifications. I was so pleased with the level of customer service that I received that I emailed Matt (his boss) to let him know about my experience. When Matt actually replied to my email (it would have been easy for him to blow it off and not respond) my mind was made up. RSD has won my business based on their level of expertise and customer service alone. Oh yeah, the AP is pretty sweet too... Intuitive and very easy to use, even for a novice like myself. I'll be driving from IL to CA in a week in fuel economy mode (for most of the trip anyway) and I'll be monitoring my MPG the whole way. ...and possibly making a few dyno runs on open stretches of highway. If anyone needs a picture (not sure why) I can post one up.

Love the AP. plug and play and easy to use. Was up and running in 10 minutes. Caution for you local buyers though - this free proto tuning tool holder is an ONLINE ONLY DEAL. So you cant go into the store and pick it up. I didnt get a holder since im local and went into the storefront to make my purchase.
my $600 is well spent, my reaction priceless :)

first off i just wanna say RSD's costumer support is real awesome! :) i have a 2012 wrx, and now i can say i can par with a sti :p the launch controll is spine breaking, the hp and tq increase is noticable, and throttle response increased dramaticly too! (especially great in slow traffic) thats all i noticed so far, but overall i will truely recommend this to a friend. You wont regret buying this thing, its the best bang for your buck ;)

I bought this on my birthday and have been extremely pleased. The guys at Rally Sport Direct helped me install and talked me through everything. The throttle response was the first thing that I noticed, very nice. I got onto the freeway and just like they said at the store the top end just wants to keep on going. I love this and big thanks to my amazing wife who knows what gifts to buy and Nick who isn't above doing the little jobs at RSD.

Awesome! highly recommend this product! engine reacts so much faster, downloadable maps from the internet, super simple, just download the cobb manager so your computer can detect it, and it doesnt think its just plugging into a car. Very customizeable tunes as well, wouldnt play with it unless you know exactly what your doing though, stick to the recommended tunes until then!

im considering buying the accessport. from cobbs website it says max power gains are about 12%hp and 21%tq. if i also do the cobb sf intake, how much more power could i expect? thank you in advance.
A: Depends on your fuel and so forth, but Cobb has said as much as extra 6% can be seen when using the intake with a stage2 tune and full exhaust. They have not posted any data for Stage1+ gains though.

A: Yes the stage 1 and stage 2 ACN maps will come pre loaded along with standard 91 and 93

hi, i had a question about wich stage map i would need to use for my car with the upgrades i have on it. I have a 2011 sti with an invidia catless downpipe, catless uppipe, 3inch straightpipe off the downpipe, cobb xle blow off valve, and a cold air intake. Thanks
A: Your best bet would to run the Stage2+intake map. You'll want to ensure you run the proper fuel map - 91, 91ACN, 93. You will want to also keep an eye on your boost levels, you may have to run the LWG or HWG duty cycle maps if you are over or under boosting at all.

My car is bone stock 2012 wrx sedan, i want to do a cat back exhaust and cold air intake, my question is if i buy this product(COBB Tuning AccessPORT w/ Proto Tuning Tool Holder Subaru 2.5L Turbo (inc. 2008-2012 WRX / STI / 2007-2012 Legacy GT) first do i have to wait until i get the other mods(exhaust and intake) to install the accessPORT. Or i can tune my car with all the bone stock parts. and what would be the best set up for my kind of car.
A: Bone stock= Stage 1 map, bone stalk with catback exhaust and intake=stage 1 map with X intake. The second map can be downloaded for free off of COBB's website.
