Are you to busy to worry about tuning your own car? Would you like piece of mind knowing your vehicle's computer (ECU) is protected against accidental damage. Are you ready to spend less time fumbling with a laptop and more time driving?

COBB offers you the ultimate personal tuning solution for your Subaru. Save time and money with the ability to conveniently reprogram your vehicle's computer (ECU) by selecting one of the pre-installed performance "maps" that automatically optimize settings such as the air/fuel ratio, ignition timing, boost and more for performance results you can instantly feel.

However, the AccessPORT is so much MORE than just a REFLASH DEVICE. It allows you to monitor fuel economy (average and real time), perform performance tests in order to estimate your 0-60mph and 1/4 mile time, read and decipher ECU trouble codes (CELs), and monitor live data via the OEM vehicle sensors which eliminates the need for costly aftermarket gauges.

Improve horsepower, torque, and fuel economy at the touch of a button

Display vehicle data such as boost, RPM, temperatures and more while you drive

Easy installation, no mechanical or computer skills necessary

Connects to your vehicle via the OBD-II port conveniently located under your dash

Exclusive ability to switch between different 'modes' on the fly

Pre-calibrated to maximize performance of stock or modified vehicles

Easy-to-read color display

Update over the Internet to stay up-to-date with the latest features

bought an 04 forester xt... not the best on the MPGs so the first thing I bought was the Access Port. put the economy tune on right away and I jumped from about 22-24mpg to 28-30. I do had a K&N intake which may help a bit. The economy tune dues tune a lot of the power out of the car though. if you are just going around town and to work no need for full boost. still has plenty of power to get up to highway speeds with no issues. just ordered a catback and I have an up-pipe to install. see how this effects the economy tune... more to come.

This programmer is great and even on stage 1 with only stock parts it makes a very noticeable difference and is worth every penny. I can't wait to get the rest of my parts and go stage 2.

I have a 2005 legacy gt and I want to know the power gains with a stock stage 1 accessport tune

What do you need to run a Stage 2 tune?

    • A: For Stage 2 Cobb recommends a turboback exhaust, but we have found that you can use just a downpipe. Intake is optional for Stage 2.

  • AnswerQ: Could I use this accessPort to tune my car with a mix of parts?  Eric Curran 3 years ago

Currently I have the full Tomei Expreme exhaust and plan on getting the Cobb accessPort,BoV and Intake. I was curious to know how a tune with the accessPort will go over when i have a exhaust that differs from Cobb. Will a mix of parts interfere with the accessPort's ability to tune properly?(2006 WRX) Thank you!

    • A: Some parts will not matter such as what brand catback, however some items will matter such as what type of intake system. Reason is that some items have a larger effect on the tune and sensors then others. Cobb does a good job stating what parts are required to run their maps and will state if a certain brand item needs to be installed, or if a general/any brand part can be used for other aspects such as catbacks.

  • AnswerQ: Can i use the stage 2 map with these mods?  smurfssss41052 3 years ago

I have a 05 sti and I have a cobb uppipe, stock box, invidia downpipe and invidia n1 CBE. Do i need a turbo back for stage 2 or is my CBE fine?

    • A: In order to run Stage 2 you have to have at least an aftermarket downpipe installed, your Invidia one is perfect. If you are running stock downpipe and an aftermarket catback then you will only be able to run the Stage 1 maps.

    • A: 04-05 STI Stage1 Gains: 8%HP / 13%TQ Stage2 Gains: 17%HP / 28%TQ 06-07 Stage1 Gains: 13%HP / 17%TQ Stage2 Gains: 19%HP / 35%TQ
