When you're upgrading to a larger turbo or driving the car hard it is important keep the air charge as cool as possible. Even though the stock intercooler is able to flow sufficient air, it is still only designed for mild driving and stock power levels.

Whether you are looking for looks or performance, you can't beat the Process West Front Mount Kit. It installs perfectly on the front of your WRX with no cutting of any metal. The end tanks are upswept which allows for maximum flow distribution across the entire intercooler core. And let's face it, it looks great as well.

Love this fmic

Other than snapping one of the tmic bolts off in the turbo and having to drill it out, this wasn't a hard install at all. Love it so far and it is a great addition to all my other mods.

  • Q: BOV  LGJamesx 3 months ago

Can I run this with a VF52? Can I also run this with tial 11 psi BOV?

    • A: This intercooler is designed for the OEM turbo on a 2008-2014 WRX and 2009-2010 Legacy. And it is flanged for OEM style blow off valve.

  • Q: Price   guest55cac846caae52ec038b69a4 5 months ago

Why is the process west fmic kit for the Sti 300 dollars more than the Wrx kit aren't they basically the same thing?

    • A: We are unable to confirm why the prices are different and it is possible that it has to due with the bends, additional parts, and the welding required for the STI kit. They are not the same and the routing of the piping is slightly different. Also, the STI kit will come with a couple additional parts such as the T fitting and lines.

  • Q: Re-tune?  Michael Hill 6 months ago

Would installing this fmic require a re-tune?

    • A: Although tuning is not required to run this FMIC, we will highly recommend a new tune to optimize best results.

  • Q: 08 wrx  WrxJamesD 8 months ago

I was going to pair this with a blouch TD05H-18G-XT, any fitment issues?

    • A: The Process West FMIC will only fit with stock and stock fitment turbos (i.e. Cavalli Stage turbos for 08+ WRX). This kit will not work on STI fitment turbos like the Blouch TD05H-18G-XT.

  • Q: IAT Bung?   1 year ago

Underneath the P in the Process West on the return line from the intercooler, there appears to be a bung. Is this a standard sized Inlet Air Temp bung?

    • A: The piece that is welded on under Process West on the pipe is a mounting hole for the pipe and is not a bung.

      Zach G. 1 year ago
    • A: Interesting, thank you! Maybe if someone from Process West see's this, IAT bungs would be greatly appreciated with the black finish! Otherwise we have to ruin it with welding and grinding, and try to match a finish afterwards.
