*You May Need To Port Your Internal Wastegate*
BlueWrx 28 days ago
First off let me say that I have a 2010 wrx with the stock vf52 turbo. Install was a breeze. Everything lined up and bolted right in. Don't forget to buy the gasket from the turbo to the down pipe, and if you are going to the stock cat back you will need a 3" to 2.5" adapter and the OEM donut gasket. RSD has all these parts. Now to the unfortunate part. Upon installation and flashing a stage 2 OTS map from Cobb, I was getting CEL code P0244 which is essentially "overboost". The waste gate can't get enough air out and results in boost creep. Long story short I took my car down to Cobb, they ported the internal waste gate on the turbo and BAM. Issue resolved. Now I'm off to find a nice canyon.

I currently have this on my 09 WRX and going stage 2 was definitely worth it. Previous to installing this I had the invidia n1 catback and this greatly improved the sound and performance. I'd recommend this + the N1 + AccessPort.
Amazing is all i can say

Got this downpipe today. Installed it in about 2 hours. The old downpipe is a pos so that was the longest part. Bolted up very nice installed the stage 2 ots map and the difference is night and day. Sounds amazing now so much better. A big step in speed and power. So satisfied with the quality of this product. If you are on the edge buy it you will not be disappointed.

When I started modding my car this was the second thing I bought after intake. I bought this DP with the Q300 exhaust. This DP give me a lot HP gain and car is pretty fast now after Pro-tune. I love the way I gain power with just this DP, Exhaust, intake and accesport. Sound, what can I tell I don't need radio anymore. Product is high quality and performance its incredible. I highly recommend it.

I'll going to get the Invidia N1 catback dual exhaust for my 2013 WRX sedan 2.5l, will the be a good set up for it? And if so how much more HP will it give me?
A: Yes you can pair this up nicely with a N1 catback. With a proper tune, you could gain 10 or so horsepower.
