Have a race car and looking for a way to make instant horsepower? Invidia’s downpipe is always a good start. This particular downpipe was tested and documented in the late but legenday Turbo magazine. They concluded that when combined with the cat-back section, the HP gains were seen up to an astonishing 60+ at the wheels with engine management.

This downpipe is made out of 304 stainless steel with a larger bell mouth. The piping ID is 3”, and should bolt up to most catback or stock units.

Please note that because this product replaces/removes an OEM emissions control device, we must state that this catless downpipe is for off-road use only.

Not a bad downpipe for the price, I was not impressed with the quality at all, there was alot of spatter on the inside from the welds, the cast quality was decent, they didn't bother smoothing anything out so I ended up reshaping the collector and and polishing the inside. Welds where ok but that is the first and last invidia product I will buy, they are not all the hype.

Worth the money

The end of the downpipe didn't match up with my cobb catback .. 1/16-1/8 inch gap after installing the gasket, going to have to go to a shop and have them figure out the best way to fix it... overall can't complain, its a fairly cheap pipe, sounds great with my tomei el headers/up pipe and cobb catback

Car came with an unknown brand 3 cat-back with a 4.5 tip. I was afraid without the cat it would be too loud, but it is purrrrfect! Running stage 2 with Cobb EBCS. Perfect fit, great sound, no boost creep that I've noticed, and the added power is absolutely wonderful. I don't see anything wrong going with the cheapest option for your DP.

Couldn't be more happier. Looks good, light weight. Easy to install, expect the part of taking off the stock DP. Love it.

Great product overall

I love this DP with the Invidia N1 race exhaust , it sounds so aggressive , but my only problem is the DP and the cat back are having a hard time aligning , so unfortunately i have a exhaust leak , so it doesn't sound that nice , if you want to go stage 2 and go cheap with out compromising quality this is the way to go.

Will this pretty much straight pipe my car ?

    • A: This is just a downpipe and would remove catalytic converters, a full straight pipe would be removing mufflers and resonators from the downpipe back as well and that depends on the catback you run.

    • A: You think it would work with a borla catback ?

Will this match up with the Perrin catback system?

    • A: Yes, this will be a direct fit with the Perrin Catbacks for the same vehicle fitment.

  • AnswerQ: Boost Gauge   Jon 2 months ago

Is there an opening or area to install a boost gauge? I'd like one installed but wondering if I able to do so.

    • A: A boost gauge will be ideal to be installed to a vacuum line source from the engines vacuum/boost line. A popular location to T a boost gauge would be off the by-pass valve.

  • AnswerQ: Stage 2  eric.cornellier28448 7 months ago

I have the AP and N1 catback, im on stage one, would the stage 2 tune work with this? considering its catless or would i have to get another map for catless specificly?

    • A: The Cobb Access Port is designed to tune Catted downpipes. A catless will usually require a protune. for more tuning information visit.
