What's the overall differences between Tein street basis and Tein basic damper kits. Which one is better out of the two? Needing to upgrade suspension on daily driven 08 sti. Thanks

    • A: The Tein Basic damper is actually an older model which we still have available. The Street Basis was released last year which is similar to the Basic, but with updates like Tein's ZT coated sleeve for durability.

At the lowest point is there any wheel rub in the wells? Also can i dally drive it at the lowest point?

    • A: With an OEM wheel size or larger it is likely that it will rub at the lowest point. We cannot confirm this 100% as these are not recommended to be driven at the lowest drop setting.

  • AnswerQ: Ride height  tmrubi50163005 3 years ago

I know this may sound funny but what is the highest this can go? will it be 1.4 min. drop? or can I go higher than factory height?

    • A: These coilovers can achieve factory height at the highest point. Any higher and you may need other modifications like extended control arms and other parts.

  • AnswerQ: 2011 wrx  Nickademous 3 years ago

How hard are these to adjust? I would like to drop as little as possible.

    • A: Adjustments are made by raising and lowering the lower spring seat. Its not hard, but every time you make a ride height change an alignment is required.
