Exhaust arrived 2 days after ordering. Install was very easy, about 30 min. with all hardware included. Great fit and finish. Perfect sound! Not too loud and no highway drone if installed correctly.

Great Quality Sound

Great product from start to finish. Immaculate pipes and welds, all supplied bolts/gaskets and a beautiful sound. Was not positive on how loud it would be, nice Subaru sound at normal driving but let me assure you this is not a quiet system when on the throttle. You wont regret this purchase. Installed on 2011 STI

Great Exhaust!!

This exhaust looks and sounds great! Even after a tough South Dakota winter the Tips polished up very nicely and the muffler still has that nice mirror finish. Great product, would highly recommend to hatchback owners looking to get the full effect of the sound of a boxer engine. This one is not aggressively loud, it sounds great for a daily driver.

I am the type of person who rarely write reviews. However after the simple 1 hour installment and the amazing Subaru Boxer rumble that came out of those pipes, I felt like I had to write a review. I got the Cat-back exhaust and it sounds great. There isn't the drone-like sound at high speeds (around 65-80 mph) which is great because I do a lot of highway driving. It isn't EXTREMELY loud when driving through town. However it gives off a rumble during down shifts. But no matter what there should be no reason why anyone should be complaining on how loud the exhaust is because your getting exactly what you paid for which is the Subaru Boxer sound that you have been wanting from the beginning. I would totally recommend this exhaust if your just looking for a good bass like normal exhaust without attracting too much attention to yourself as well.

All around great

Super easy install less than 45 minutes, did not need to buy an adapter for my stock down pipe and I have 0 exhaust leaks! Not super loud so if loud is what you want don't buy this one. Has a nice deep rumble. 2013 Wrx pro tuned on 18 psi and cat back.

  • AnswerQ: O2 sensor  Cv 22 days ago

I just bought the Q300 cat back for my 2011 wax hatch. Would this be a direct replacement for my exhaust or are there any necessary parts I need to complete the swap? Is this also CARB certified? Thanks!

    • A: For use with the OEM Downpipe, and adapter like Part #: GRM 077046 is recommended. The exhaust is not CARB certified.

  • AnswerQ: 2014 WRX Hatch  Aaron 3 months ago

Purchased used Q300. What sizes are the 2 different bolts? And what brand/kind gasket would be best?

    • A: Any of the gaskets that we carry are a great quality and typically the Grimmspeed gaskets tend to be the popular choice. We are unable to confirm the size of the bolts and would just recommend going to your local hardware store and finding a bolt that fits correctly.

I have a 2014 wrx hatchback. What gasket should I use when installing this catback to my stock downpipe?

    • A: Using the donut gasket and Grimmspeed's OEM downpipe to 3 catback gasket would be the best fit and finish.

  • AnswerQ: Will it fit?  coloRADo 2 years ago

I have an 09 hatch. I know this won't fit unless I do modifications to the rear diffuser. Do you know if any other modifications will be needed?

    • A: We have not tried to install this on a 2009 model and we do not know what modifications would be required to make it fit.
