The Invidia WRX Exhaust System is constructed with fully polished SUS 304 stainless steel. The exhaust features CNC machined flanges, robot TIG welded, and computerized mandrel-bent tubing for the straightest possible line and the lease amount of bends. This pipe does not have a resonator in the exhaust making it the straightest least amount of turbulence possible. Also it gives a very aggressive race sound.

The subaru rumble is very real...

Ok guys. So i paired this with a invidia bellmouth catless downpipe and it sounds absolutely amazing. Much much louder than i expected which ive come to love. My neighbors on the other hand no longer wave at me..... and if cars park close behind me its a given that i will set off their alarm just on start-up oops, LOL... You've been warned.... Preformance wise i felt a huge gain in torque after my stage 2 tune. It also is much more responsive to the pedal. Would highly recommend this product as long as you dont mind the noise. Its also the cheapest invidia exhaust i could find which is also a huge bonus. On a side note, BUY GASKETS BEFORE INSTALLATION. Installation was fairly easy. However it took alot longer than expected because my old gasket broke when we took it off. So i replaced all of them, would recommend doing the same! Enjoy everyone!

Fitment on 2006 STi

Great fitment (also bought 15mm hangers to reduce center diff rattle I previously had from stock hangers). If you're running an old school Cobb DP which is catless and discontinued, you'll need a donut gasket for it to pair up nicely without leaks since the DP doesn't have a flat flange connection. Overall a great fit and tucks nicely into the rear bumper. Sounds great too. :)

Awesome Sound

The best sounding cat back on the market. Fitment is a little off with my down pipe as it scrapes against the floor pan, but the low sound and occasional poping more than makes up it!

  • AnswerQ: Difference between race and resonated  Suli 2 months ago

I know the race exhaust is louder but does it take away the subie rumble that the resonated cbe has? Also im not sure but does aftermarket exhaust give the popping sounds on decel or is that something else?

    • A: The rumble will not be removed unless you switch to an equal length header, although without the resonator the sound will be a lot more raspy. Afterfires in the exhaust are not caused by the exhaust system, but a more open system can make them more audible.

Do the invidia catback systems fit onto a stock 02 wrx downpipe? Also does the race catback not give the subaru rumble? or is that only with the n1?

    • A: Yes this exhaust will work with your OEM downpipe as long as you have the correct adapter and this exhaust keeps the rumble.

  • AnswerQ: Invidia N1 Race CBE - 2007 WTR TR Sedan  Kats 2 months ago

Will this fit directly to the stock Downpipe or will I have to purchase a gasket? Also my vehicle is lowered about 2 inches so would you guys recommend different hangers?

    • A: While it is not required, I do recommend getting a Grimmspeed OEM downpipe to 3" catback adapter and a new OEM donut gasket. Using this adapter will help prevent any exhaust leaks. Some customers buy the extended hangers to have the exhaust sit farther from the bumper, but they wont be required.

What's the difference between straight exit and angled tip? The titanium tip says straight exit but the regular says angled tip... thanks in advance

    • A: A straight exit exhaust will come straight out of the back of the car and will be square with the bumper. An angled exit will come out of the bumper at an angle. Both the N1 and Racing exhausts are angled exit, and we will update the listing to reflect that.

  • AnswerQ: Gaskets  metaltera86 7 months ago

Just a general question: I plan on buying this catback and the invidia catted divorced downpipe. Im trying to figure out what gaskets I need. Do I just need the turbo to downpipe?

    • A: With the Invidia downpipe and catback you will just need the turbo to downpipe gasket like you mention.
