If you have lowered your vehicle then you may want to consider getting the Whiteline Front Roll Center Adjustment kit. The Roll Center Kit incorporates  2 steering arm tie rod ends, and 2 ball joints, and is designed to raise the front roll-center geometry after lowering the vehicle. This will also improve on the original bump-steer geometry.

How it works is that the Whiteline ball joints are physically longer compared to the OEM units. Once installed into the control arm, it will push the control arm down to keep the factory suspension geometry settings as close to OEM as possible.

The Tie Rod Ends are also taller when compared to OEM. They come with heady duty boot covers for heat resistance near the brake rotors. These are a must-have if you lower your car, however they make for really good factory replacements. They come ready to install with new castle nuts, and new pins as well.

Bought this since my ball joints were on their way out anyways. Had my shop install this on my 09 XT which is lowered on the older .8" Swift springs. It has helped correct the alignment. Recommended for all lowered SH's.

Crucial for alignment. Please be sure to add this cost to your total when looking to do coilovers especially. Great quality as usual from Whiteline.

I have done the full Whiteline suspension bushings and my car feels solid. This definitely added stability to the front.

Installed on 2009 Subaru Forester XT w/ 08 STi suspension

Keeping in mind that my old ball joints and tie rods were on their way out.. this made a noticeable difference in body roll and over all stability of the Forester. I am on 08 STi takeoffs so I am over 3 lower than stock. This mods is paired with whiteline solid end links and 25mm front sway bar. The Forester now out handles a stock STi!

  • AnswerQ: H.6 with Aluminum after market control arms!  sexwhirlpool29189 28 days ago

Hello! I have a 2001 H.6 Bean outback and was thinking if these here could fit with the set up I have. I recently purchased after market aluminium control arms that are about an inch longer than the OEM steel control arms recently fitted on until I bent the steel OEM control arms sliding into a curb. Last week I went to have my car aligned after putting the aluminum control arms on and the mechanics said that I in order to have a "correct" or "good" alignment I would need either longer tie rods with more threads, or I would need to not use the after market control arms I just invested in and just use the OEM steel control arms! Now I do not want to purchase a new set of control arms. I would love to be able to use these aluminum control arms with my car some how!!!! Would these help me out with the making the geometry of the suspension be "safe" or "correct" with the current aluminium control arms? Are these the same length as the OEM counter parts or longer? If these are not longer or if these to not have more threads than the OEM counter parts could you direct me to parts that do, please? Thank you for the help! I appreciate the time.

    • A: Hi Sexwhirlpool, The Whiteline roll center kit tie rod ends are nearly identical in length to the OE arms and would not be suited to resolve the alignment angle problem you described in your comments. I'm unaware of any kit's that would be suited to resolve your specific problem.

  • AnswerQ: Stock Height  doosami 1 month ago

My 07 WRX stage 2+ is not lowered and is stock height. Will I still benefit from these given that I'm not lowered?

    • A: This kit can be used as OEM replacements on a stock height car, but it is not recommended. The control arms will be pushed down by the extended ball joints and that can affect the steering.

      Brady R 1 month ago

    • A: Hi Doosami, This kit is designed to correct steering geometry on vehicles that are lowered around 1". We do not recommend installing it on a vehicle at OE ride height as it could adversely affect steering geometry.

  • AnswerQ: bump steer kit  cgivette3643917665 1 month ago

Is there any difference between these black roll center kits and the old original color one's?

    • A: Hi cgivette, We have had a couple of different versions of the KCA313 (three I beleive) so I'm not sure exactly which original version you're referencing, but there was a change to the internal components of these kits to allow for a longer service life. There were also revisions to the retention method of the boots supplied.

  • AnswerQ: Whiteline Tie rod/ball joint kit.   95ej22 2 months ago

This kit is recommended for lowered Subaru's. I have a 2.5" lift (outback strut assembly swap) on my '95 legacy sedan, and will be replacing my rack and pinion soon, would increased front roll center geometry be good or bad in this type of situation?

    • A: As you mentioned, this kit is specifically designed to correct steering geometry changes on lowered vehicles (about 1"). The kit would not offer any performance advantages for a lifted vehicles, and would very likely cause some adverse steering/handling effects. I would not recommend installing this kit on a lifted vehicle.
