If you have lowered your vehicle then you may want to consider getting the Whiteline Front Roll Center Adjustment kit. The Roll Center Kit incorporates  2 steering arm tie rod ends, and 2 ball joints, and is designed to raise the front roll-center geometry after lowering the vehicle. This will also improve on the original bump-steer geometry.

How it works is that the Whiteline ball joints are physically longer compared to the OEM units. Once installed into the control arm, it will push the control arm down to keep the factory suspension geometry settings as close to OEM as possible.

The Tie Rod Ends are also taller when compared to OEM. They come with heady duty boot covers for heat resistance near the brake rotors. These are a must-have if you lower your car, however they make for really good factory replacements. They come ready to install with new castle nuts, and new pins as well.

I have done the full Whiteline suspension bushings and my car feels solid. This definitely added stability to the front.

Installed on 2009 Subaru Forester XT w/ 08 STi suspension

Keeping in mind that my old ball joints and tie rods were on their way out.. this made a noticeable difference in body roll and over all stability of the Forester. I am on 08 STi takeoffs so I am over 3 lower than stock. This mods is paired with whiteline solid end links and 25mm front sway bar. The Forester now out handles a stock STi!

Excellent product. Love the build quality.

Now running coilovers, so I'm a bit lowered. These were a breeze to install and I love the build quality. I can't judge the improvements it made over stock cause I changed to coilovers the day before. But steering effort was less over the one day I drove the car. But I had no alignment done there again so I can't make a good judgement. Now with all alignment and everything settled the car drives smooth, turn in is improved Great product! Best there is. Will love to buy again!

Looks COOL but doesn't feel much different from stock

To be honest, I do not feel a difference. Very easy install but wish I could buy the ball joints and tie rod separately. Fyi... I have an 06 wrx and do NOT forget to remove the conical washer/bushing (steel) off the old ball joints!!! I've noticed many DIY sites/forums don't ever mention it!!!

  • AnswerQ: Will this product fit my JDM 1996 WRX (GC8)?  Koopsta 2 months ago

Will part number WHI KCA313 fit my JDM 1996 WRX (GC8)?

    • A: Yes, this product will fit the following chassis as mentioned. SUBARU IMPREZA GC SEDAN MY94-00 EXCL WRX & STI(4/1993-9/2000) (WILL FIT BOTH USDM & JDM GC MODELS)

  • AnswerQ: JDM fitment  Type 3 months ago

will this fit a jdm 1998 V4 sti type r. thanks

    • A: Hi Type, This kit is confirmed on the 1998 JDM STI, but I don't hve any specific fitment confirmation for the V4 type R. I would venture an educated guess that the tie-rod end'd and ball joint's were unchanged but some additional investigation may be warranted as this is a non-US spec vehicle.

  • AnswerQ: Tie rod ends  guest55c81419caae52f46098b9f9 8 months ago

Do you sell the tie rod ends separately? I have the whole set on my car but one of the tie rods is bent from an accident. Please let me know. Thank you

    • A: We do not sell tie rod ends separately.

  • AnswerQ: Would it be beneficial for a 1 to 1.5 inch drop?  evaradar 9 months ago

I have a 2009 Impreza 2.5i sedan, currently on OEM 2011 WRX struts and springs. I plan on getting an already custom fabricated 2013 OEM STi struts with RCE yellow springs, which will be a direct bolt on to my car. I was informed this drops the car 1 to 1.5 inches. Therefore, would this application be beneficial for that drop? Or would it require the car to be more than 2 inches of a drop?

    • A: This kit is designed for vehicles lowered about 1. At a one inch vehicle drop, the steering geometry would be near identical to factory original. This kit would still benefit your application more than not having it at all.

Jonathan @ Whiteline 9 months ago

    • A: This kit is designed to alter the vehicle steering geometry close to stock on vehicles that are lowered about one inch. If your vehicle is at factory ride height then not only would you see no benefit in regards to the steering geometry correction, but it is possible that it will adversely affect the handling. I would not recommend installing this on a stock ride height vehicle.

  • AnswerQ: Stock replacement  Wilcox 9 months ago

Can these be used as a general upgrade if my stock tie rods and ball joints need replacement. Car has lots of bracing but stock suspension still. Just don't feel like using O.E stuff. I guess I am asking if they can be used on a car with stock ride height or even slightly lifted.

Jonathan @ Whiteline 9 months ago

    • A: This kit can be used as OEM replacements on a stock height car, but it is not recommended. The control arms will be pushed down by the extended ball joints and that can affect the steering.
